We’re looking for an inspired and inspiring Brand Marketing Manager to shape, scale, and steward our brand as we grow across markets. This is a pivotal role for a creative yet strategic thinker who is equal parts brand storyteller, people manager, and data-literate decision-maker.
Reporting to the CEO & GM, this role works in conjunction with our Growth Marketing Manager (digital ads, UX and ecommerce optimisation) and involves running a team including a Social Media Manager and in-house media production. We work from our spectacular Byron Bay office, and most of us do a couple of days a week from home. You’ll take the reins on marketing direction —building and expressing our brand identity, identifying the initiatives that move the needle, and devising strategy across markets. Brand Leadership: Define and evolve the brand's voice, values, and visual language; create compelling stories and campaigns that build emotional resonance and recognition. Shape and grow our brand’s presence across all touchpoints.
Strategic Direction: Identify opportunities and set marketing strategy across channels, prioritising initiatives that align with our mission and market potential.
Team Management: Lead and nurture a high-performing marketing team. Set clear goals, offer direction, and create a culture of creativity, accountability, and growth.
Campaign Ideation and Coordination: Develop and execute integrated brand and sales campaigns—from concept through to delivery—ensuring messaging, visuals, and timing align with company strategy and drive measurable impact.
Creative Oversight: Collaborate with internal and external creatives to deliver consistent, high-impact assets and content.
Product Marketing: Work closely with the product team to launch new products and ensure messaging resonates with our audiences.
Brand partnerships: Implement collaborations with influencers and other brands to expand our reach.
Data-Informed Decision Making: Use insights and analytics to refine tactics and track marketing effectiveness.
Global Perspective: Help grow the brand in transnational markets, understanding how to localise without diluting the core brand.
Market and Trend Awareness: Stay attuned to cultural and industry trends as you tailor our brand’s presence across all touchpoints.
You’re an inspired marketer with a sharp creative instinct and a strategic mindset.
You’re a brand builder at heart: you understand the power of narrative, identity, and vibe.
You’ve worked in ecommerce environments and know how to convert storytelling into sales.
You’re data-literate—you can interpret insights and use them to drive action.
You’ve had exposure to product marketing, and understand how to position offerings effectively.
You’re confident giving creative direction and feedback as you collaborate with designers, writers, and producers.
You’re a strong manager who brings out the best in others.
You see the bigger picture, spot opportunities, and make smart calls on where to focus.
Ideally, you’ve worked across borders. USA experience is particularly of interest, the UK and EU are also relevant.
Experience with brand activations is preferred - eg: experiential events that get products into people’s hands.
You care deeply about the planet and want your work to contribute to a more sustainable future.
