The old way
Taking care of bees involves regularly opening the hive to check on them.
This means that beekeepers had to:
Chisel between the boxes to break the seal.
Lift a heavy super or two off – sometimes this requires two people.
Find somewhere to put it down (making sure not to lose the queen).
Finally, put the heavy super back on, often squashing bees.
“Lifting, to me, is the biggest problem in beekeeping” - Michael Bush
How the Flow Super Lifter works
Easily attaches to an existing hive.
Cracks the boxes apart (no more chiselling)
Saves the backbreaking work of lifting to open the hive.
Safely holds the boxes while the beekeeper works.
Allows you to gently replace boxes to avoid squashing bees.
Folds back up and fits in the carry bag.
It’s then ready to be used on another hive.
Designed to be versatile
The Super Lifter suits a variety of hive types and widths.
Lifts up to 2 deep boxes at a time (use the additional handles and latches).
