We're hiring! - Apiary Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting position for an experienced beekeeper! The role involves managing 3 apiaries and testing cool new beekeeping inventions. The ideal candidate will be a team player, capable of multitasking, with good communication and admin skills. Beekeeping experience is a must, and experience in a commercial apiary is a bonus. You’ll be working in a great environment at a spectacular location by the coast, with team lunches and other sweet perks.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain bee colonies.
Monitor and control pests and diseases.
Testing & maintaining logs.
Train and supervise staff in basic beekeeping practices.

Ideal Skills/Experience:

Strong knowledge of beekeeping and hive management.
Well-organised with good communication skills.
Ability to work with manual tools and power tools.
Basic ability to work with digital tools such as spreadsheets.
Passionate about bees and sustainability.
