A bit about this role:

We are currently on the lookout for an Organic Social Media Lead to join our amazing marketing team! Our ideal candidate will have a high level of creativity, attention to detail, project management skills, and loves getting stuck into the data.

With a social reach of 1 million followers and an origin story that went viral overnight, social media is a key element of our marketing. We’re looking for someone who loves what they do, shows initiative, collaborates well within a team and continually brings new ideas to the table to help us grow our social presence and reach our target customers. 

You’re a clever funnel architect - from social engagement through to creating content that attracts website visitors and drives email signups. You analyse and report on the relationship between the content created and the leads generated.

You’ll scale our influencer program, working with high profile influencers on content creation, messaging and posting, using data & reporting to to guide your decision making.

You’ll manage and coach a direct report, Social Media Coordinator

Any beekeeping knowledge would be really useful, but if you’ve never kept a bee in your life, don’t worry! We’ll teach you about them.

This is a full-time position. Our team works from our incredible Byron shire office and you’ll also be able to work flexible days from home.

     

    Key skills/experience required:

    • A comprehensive understanding of social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest. 
    • 3-5 years experience growing eCommerce B2C businesses using organic social media in an Agency or In-house environment. 
    • Experience in using data to analyse and report on the effect social media has on business outcomes.
    • Experience in leveraging high profile customers/influencers to promote brands.
    • Experience in leveraging community groups (Forums, Facebook Groups) to achieve business goals.
    • Creative ability to produce, write, and edit content.
    • Basic experience in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop/Premiere Pro).
    • Sophisticated understanding and experience in implementing lead gen strategies.
